I just stumbled on your channel and I'm so happy that I did! I love projects that use magazines, old book pages, junk mail, and other things that would otherwise end up in the trash! I also love things that anyone can do without having to buy any expensive equipment or materials. I have just sent a spring themed letter and envelope. Yes I often do mine themed and have just asked my pen pals favourite colour so I can do a colour themed one with that colour goodies too. I paint, use pens, draw, cut out magazines and words, stamps ,washi tape and use stickers.

I usually make my own envelopes, from calendars no longer needed, which don't need anything else adding to them. But when I use plain envelopes I use washi tapes with no theme. Actuality I do like colour, so I suspose colourful is my theme 😊

Spanking is the best solution

I make a little sketch on each letter. And the sketch usually has something to do with the content of the letter--so not a theme per se. I got the idea for my letters from Vincent Van Gogh's letters to his brother Theo--although my sketches cannot compare to Vincent's!!

I use to use Goodnights sleeping pull ups because I was hurt at six I started weting the bed when I don't do it before.

Oh, and other than textured round pieces of paper, I would have to touch them to know what they are. Have grace for yourself as you go through this process. Brain fog is not fun, but getting stressful about it in the moment can make it harder to remember the name of things. I have lived with brain fog since 2011, and it’s not easy, but it can be worse depending on what we do with it. If the walk was particularly longer, or if there’s more pollen or whatever in the air than typical, then you have different things building up to bring it out in that moment. And if you don’t want to have grace for yourself, then you don’t have to. I just find it makes life less difficult for me in those times when my mind is not at the same place as my mouth.

My 5 magical things are: the moonlight through the pines, a playful black kitten, fresh warm drinks on a rainy day, snuggly blankets and warm clothes on sunny frigid days, and, hugs from loved ones with the just right way of living them.

Here's a question for you! What do you do with the pen pal letters you receive? I love all of it and hate to just throw it away! I use some interesting add ins or stickers in my artwork but don't have room in my house to keep it all! Maybe you could do a blog post on that topic!
